Alright, now that you know how to fix bad and sleep-inducing writing. I think it’s about time I share this trick, the secret sauce, the Krabby Patty secret formula of writing. 

A trick that turns simple words into a way to make money.

So what is this secret trick and how do we use it?

Well, the same way you would use it in a bar.

Improve Your Writing Using The BAR Test

So, let’s say you see two people talking and one of them starts the conversation a little something like this.

“Hey my name is Billy from Billy’s marketing agency, I help businesses augment their conversion rates, exponentially generate more income through our marketing services, I hope this information finds you well. I just came up to you because based on what I’ve seen so far I wanted to inform you that you look super dapper this wonderful evening and just wanted to state how truly incredible, and eye-catching, and just noteworthy it is to see how committed you are to your style. Might I ask whom I might be speaking to?

If you somehow managed to make it through that mess, without wanting to stop reading, and haven’t clicked off… Then you’re just built different.

As you can clearly see, this did not pass the bar test.

What Is This BAR Test You Speak Of?

The Bar test is unmatched and undisputed, like a prime Mike Tyson. The BAR test has worked and been around since the first man thought of the idea of a bar.

Even if there are no more bars on Earth, the bar test will still work. As long as humans are around, and we haven’t been taken over by AI, the bar test will still be a good use to improve your writing.

“But you still haven’t told us what it is or how to use it?”

 So here's how you use the BAR test.

The Unrivaled BAR Test 

When looking at any piece of writing out there. You first ask yourself this question:

Does this sound like something I would say to a person in a conversation?

Because if not then you failed the BAR test. The writing must sound like something you would say to someone and not something you got from ChatGPT.

That’s the problem with a lot of writing today. They use complicated words and end up making their writing sound robotic, which ends up costing them money.

So how do you fix this problem?

Here’s a trick I’ve been using to improve my writing and avoid sounding less robotic. I guarantee you if you apply this same trick into your writing it will improve it as well.

Proofread Your Writing 

Before sending out your writing see if it sounds good when reading it out loud. See where some words don’t flow right, where maybe it sounds like something ChatGPT would say, and see if it sounds like something you would say in a bar.

Just make sure it sounds human like, and not too long, but something you would say to a close friend of yours.

The Conversation has to flow properly to effectively work.

Apply this trick to your writing and see how much better your writing gets.
