You know whats the best way to get people's attention?


A good headline.


A headline is supposed to draw the reader in while making them go “Ooooh this sounds interesting.”


However there’s just one problem with most headlines out there.


They absolutely suck. They don’t stand out. They’re boring. And they don’t resonate with the reader at all.


And it doesn't matter where you live either because this problem is everywhere.


So, how do we fix this problem once and for all?


Stand out from the crowd


The first step to creating a good headline is to stand out from the rest of the crowd.


Your headline is supposed to be like seeing a six foot bodybuilder standing next to a bunch of midgets.


And the best way to stand out from the crowd is to make the headline resonate with your target audience.


Because let’s say your target audience is people with severe back pain.


A good headline to garner attention from your target audience would be, “ How to fix severe back pain using these 3 tricks”.


This headline works because it resonates with them while adding a sense of curiosity in the headline.


Using Words That Sell 


The next step to creating a good headline is to use words that evoke some emotion from the reader while leaving them itching to read more.


For example let’s say you write the best article known to man but the headline absolutely sucks… it wouldn’t matter how good the article is.


Because if the words in your headline don't seem interesting enough to the reader, they will just scroll right past it without giving it a chance.


Especially in today's time where people have TikTok brains and are bombarded with never ending information.


That’s why it’s important to use words in your headlines that evoke some emotion in the reader, while also giving them a good enough reason to click on the headline.


Keep The Reader Engaged


So at the end of the day let’s use words that resonate with our target audience and let’s give them a reason to click on the headline.


Make sure your headline includes some sense of curiosity while helping the reader with whatever problem they have.


And let’s stop using boring headlines that are sleep inducing and instead use words that sell.
